Select the document you want to import.

Click Import.

MacProject II searches all the tasks or resources n the chart (not just the ones that are visible) to match an imported task or resource name to an existing name. 

If a match is found, the imported data replaces the old data.

If no match is found, the action MacProject II takes depends on which chart is active.

In the Project Table, the new (imported) tasks are appended to the end of the table, and no new dependencies are established with existing tasks in the Schedule Chart.

In the Resource Table, the new 
(imported) resources are appended to the end of the table. New calendars are created for calendar names that cannot be matched.
